This fostered his skills as a programmer and shaped his worldview in this environment. In particular, his deep skepticism of authority and centralized power.

He had no training but he spent three and a half months in the front row of YPG military. Later, he was discharged from the force and joined the civil society for over a year working on various projects for Rojava’s economic committee.
